Experience: 6–10 years of relevant experience in the CNG stations operations and maintenance in a CGD Company. Possesses Good knowledge of CNG systems, regulations, and safety standards. Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Basic budgeting and data analysis ability.
Job Description
1. Operations & Maintenance
- Ensure smooth functioning of compressors, dispensers and associated equipment including forecourt operations.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Monitor gas flow, power consumption, losses, and other performance indicators.
- Avoid dry-outs by managing HCV fleet scheduling efficiently.
2. Safety & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with PESO, W&M, Gas Cylinder Rules, Factories Act, and other regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, implement SOPs, and report incidents.
- Support internal and external audits and close audit points on time.
3. Team Management
- Lead and guide field teams including engineers, technicians, drivers, and filler staff.
- Set team goals, provide training, and ensure discipline and accountability.
- Encourage teamwork, ownership, and safety awareness.
4. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, government agencies, and internal departments.
- Manage vendor contracts, service levels, and procurement needs.
- Facilitate required approvals for station operations and upgrades.
5. Project & Station Commissioning
- Participate in commissioning of new CNG stations and ensure smooth handover to operations.
- Support expansion activities and align them with operational readiness.
6. Cost & Budget Management
- Monitor operational expenses, optimize resource use, and control costs.
- Support procurement planning and vendor payments.
7. Reporting & Data Analysis
- Maintain records from SCADA, MIS, and daily logs.
- Prepare reports on station performance, downtime, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- Use data to improve performance and plan improvements.
8. Customer Service & Awareness
- Ensure stations are clean, safe, and running smoothly for customers.
- Promote safe usage practices among drivers and station users.
