Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of PNG network projects, including MDPE laying and customer connectivity. Ensures compliance with technical, commercial, regulatory, and HSE standards, manages project performance against schedules and budgets, and coordinates with EPC contractors, PMC, TPI, vendors, and internal departments. Key responsibilities include project evaluation, risk mitigation, quality audits, invoice and billing management, project closure, and technical assessment of PNG potential across domestic, commercial, and industrial segments. Also involves liaising with authorities, representing the company to government bodies, and driving process improvements for efficient and compliant project delivery.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations pertaining to PNG operations.
  • Execute, monitor, and control all site activities, including MDPE laying and customer connectivity, while ensuring compliance with technical, commercial, and contractual obligations.
  • Evaluate and review project and contract performance against plans and schedules, managing time/cost overruns, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitor and control time, resources, cost, quality, and HSE parameters; perform engineering quality audits and ensure adherence to project procedures.
  • Consolidate site issues, cash flow details, capitalization, statutory permissions, and provide regular updates to management.
  • Coordinate and communicate with EPC contractors, PMC, third-party inspection agencies, vendors, and other departments for engineering approvals and project-related matters.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives through regular meetings and reviews.
  • Review, certify, and process invoices for EPC contractors, PMC, TPI, and vendors; prepare initial billing schedules and ensure timely project closure including final documentation, settlement of claims, and handover to operations.
  • Analyze project delays and liquidated damages, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company quality and HSE guidelines.
  • Conduct technical assessments of PNG potential across domestic, commercial, and industrial segments in collaboration with the marketing department; liaise with local authorities and represent the company to government bodies as required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of PNG codes, standards, regulations, and HSE guidelines.
