Job Summary
| The Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts at IRM Energy Ltd. is responsible for managing and supervising the financial and accounting operations of the company and its subsidiaries or joint control entities. This includes overseeing the monthly closure process, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and coordinating with auditors and other stakeholders. The role also includes assisting in financial reporting, preparation of MIS, and aligning financial practices with SEBI and other regulatory guidelines. |
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the complete accounting function of IRM Energy Ltd. and its subsidiaries / joint control entities.
- Oversee timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure prompt and correct payment of statutory dues including GST, TDS, and others.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors for statutory, internal, tax, cost, VAT, and GST audits.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of Monthly MIS reports for management decision-making.
- Coordinate and ensure timely filing of various statutory returns including Excise, VAT, GST, TDS, etc.
- Collaborate with other group companies on finance and accounts-related matters.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements in compliance with SEBI guidelines and other regulatory frameworks.
- Maintain strong internal controls and contribute to continuous process improvement in finance functions.
- Support strategic financial planning and participate in budgeting and forecasting exercises.
Skills & Competencies
- Accounting Software Proficiency: Tally ERP, MS Excel (Advanced), MS Office Suite
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Preparation of MIS, financial statements, and management reports
- Statutory Compliance: Knowledge of TDS, GST, VAT, Service Tax, and other regulatory filings
- Bank Reconciliation & Cash Management: Expertise in reconciliation of accounts and handling petty cash
- Audit Coordination: Experience with statutory and internal audit processes
- Project Accounting: Ability to track and report project-related financials
- Fixed Asset Management: Maintaining and reconciling fixed asset registers
- Accounts Payable & Vendor Management: Timely processing of vendor invoices and adherence to SOPs
